ITS ALL ABOUT SURVIVING
From MNCs to GLCs to Govt Agencies i've gone through that. Conglomerate to Technology Corp to Financial to FMCG to Property & Oil and Gas. Been gone through many things & learnt many great things from great leaders. Yups once in a blue moon meet up with nonsense & fools.
A bit frustrated coz i met few of those nonsense & fools in GLCs & Govt Agencies where 90 % are malays & muslims where integrity & doing a right thing shld be the culture. Not all but MANY. What a shame but thats the thing that we need to swallow. We still far from Level 5 leadership & organization eventhough i met many good ones as well but they normally being sidelined, career being killed or need to keep their mouth shut due to whatever reasons.
I never expect i'm.gonna leave that world to start up something really small & different from what i've been doing for 20 years. Something that most of my corporate frens not gonna envy you, remember you or wanna follow you. This is not a glamorous job with great title, nice airconditoned room & toilets, driver, car, pretty PA, leave passage & a good rewards package. This is not a job that people gonna congratulate you.
This is a job to cari makan that you need to get up as early as 345 am & leave house by 445 am or earlier. Got burnt by the sun & bitten by super cold morning after rain. You may face heavy rain at noon where in the " BENINGING " u thot everything gonna be ok.
Last time i always said pls dont bargain with those people that doing a small biz at pasar malam, down or up town etc. It is all about survival not to become rich. Now i can even understand about it more. I now look at all these from another angle. Kakak on my left managed to sell only RM 85 entire day + discount given when people ask about it. On my right the brother with his family manage to sell only RM 33 !!! Infront of me all 3 of them didnt manage to sell anything at all.
Yes there can be a lot of people as Menteri said but not all of them gonna buy anything. Some only buy what they really need & try to bargain to the cheapest as they can get.
Those that selling food even worst coz they cannot keep it for tmrw. In the afternoon some started to pack their thing not to go home but to go to another place thinking about survival. But they looks happy & best part i met few new frens today.
Life wont be easy to you. It will knock on your feet or your head even entire body but you cannot stop walking no matter how the pain looks like. Sometimes just stop for a while to breathe & look back owh i'm already here. Then back on your feet & keep walking. Allah is always gonna be there.
Sometimes people dont wanna ask & choose to believe what they wanna believe. Always remember there will always another side of the coin.
Yups i travelled the world, visited a lot of place, met a lots of new people & cultures, make frens, won few awards for my organizations either as a team or under my own flag. Went to a place that most people dont wanna go or never knew the existence of it. What i know during my entire 20 years of working exp i never sell anyone or anything from me especially my integrity to buy my future. May Allah guide me, my boys especially Aiman where he learnt new things today & guide all of us.
While i'm writting this the kakak on my left stil cont doing her small business right now 1130 pm since 5 am this morning. Alreafy went to 2 places. She need to be at another place to do sell her products tmrw by 730 am !!!
Thanks to some frens that dropping by today.
